The News, Eats & Events Shaping Western New York

Excitement is blooming in Hamburg, New York, as Hess Brothers Florist dazzles Sabres fans with creative playoff-themed flower arrangements.

This family-owned shop, serving the community since 1926, has introduced bright bouquets featuring yellow gerbera daisies, white daisies, and blue delphiniums — each adorned with a foam finger and Sabres pennant for an extra dose of team spirit.

Fans can further personalize their arrangements, choosing from a wide selection in the shop’s cooler to create something truly unique.

Their window display, decked out with Sabres memorabilia and a jersey from renowned goalie Ryan Miller, has become a nostalgic stop for locals.

Hess Brothers’ festive touch recalls its memorable Super Bowl displays for the Buffalo Bills in the 1990s.

With the Sabres snapping a 14-year playoff drought, both community spirit and business are thriving, highlighting this florist as a cherished part of Hamburg’s celebrations.
